What would you have been working with if you weren’t in Tokio Hotel?
Bill: We would have been unemployed musicians.
Tom: I would also consider myself to be a lazy policeofficer.

Bill, how much time and money do you spend on your hair?
Bill: It takes maximum 10 mins on the morning. How much money I spend? Pretty normal I think, not very much. It depends on how much it cost at the hairdresser, a few hundred Euros. Otherwise I actually only use hairspray.

Tom, what happened with your dreadlocks?
Tom: One beautiful day they got ripped out of my head. Now they are sold to a maximum bid on e-bay!
Haha, okey..? And how did this happened?
Tom: I can’t say, it’s not very nice. Nah, I just wanted to get rid of the heavy weight on my head! Get abit easier on the head as well.
Georg: Ever since he even manage to speak in full sentences… Haha.

What are your worst habits?
Bill: Im awake too long during the nights and then I drink too much coffee.
Tom: I also drink too much coffee. One new bad habit is that I sleep to long when I have a day off!
Georg: That I often forget about the time and are late.
Tom: Georg forget to take a shower sometimes too. It’s unpleasant for the rest of us.
Gustav: I tease.

If you were girls for one day, what would you do?
(everybody laughs hysterical)
Tom: There are so many things… So many things…
Bill: We only think about dirty stuff! I only know horrible stuff, haha. I would like to try as much as possible.
Tom: If I were a girl for a day I would try to sleep with Tom Kaulitz.
Georg: We all can relate to that… We would try that too, haha!

How does the perfect Saturday morning look like?
Tom: Being interviewed in Sweden!

Bill: We barley go out. We usually stay home in the house, watching DVDs and eating chips and such stuff.

Bravo: Bill, are you happy?
Bill: I am totally happy with my career. Our album “Humanoid” seems to be super. In most European countries we are more successful in charts than with last album. I wish that my private life is also so good.I don’t know what do I need to be happy, but I am not.

Bravo: Any idea why is that?
Bill: It maybe because I have no time to be happy for the things I experienced. I can not even celebrate our success and enjoy. Because I alwayshave something new to do. And I am still missing love. Unfortunately…

Bravo: How can you then find it? Can we help?
Bill: I don’t know too (sighs). There are many people that try to find a partner in a realiltyshow. “Bill in love” wouldn’t really be for me.To meet a girl in front of camera-that’s not working. That I learn to know someone private is unfortunately very unlikely. I don’t go out or shopping!

Bravo: And why don’t you run away from your world and go out without bodyguards?
Bill: I’ll be honest and say that I never want to try that,I am scared of that! Right now in Europe is really hard for me to go in a Club alone. Even if security is here, it seems to me like a photo session or a signing session. Than I feel like an animal in a zoo.But that’s a life of a star. Maybe I meet someone because of my job…who knows? If love should really get me then surely coincidental.

Bravo: Are you at least satisfied with yourself?
Bill: Sometimes I can’t tolerate myself. I don’t watch my preformances-I don’t bear myself on TV. It also annoys me that I am constantly thinking about something. That I am often not amused and I am nervous. I always check two times if the doors are locked.Look 10 times If I haven’t forgot. I think I should become more relaxed.

Bravo: Are you afraid of the future?
Bill: Yes. Who knows what will I do for 5 or 10 years? My horrorversion would be to have a computer in an office. That’s really not for me. Alreadyin the school I had an authority problem. I just can’t listen to anyoneI hope that I will always be my own boss.

Bravo: Do you also fight –or you are more persistent?
Bill: I am very emotionally,I have yelles on other guys or Team
mebers, if something is not working properly,or doesn’t fit into my stuff.

Bravo: How does a fight in Tokio Hotel looks like?
Bill: Before we also beaten eachother. Today we make a psychological pressure…

Bravo: Really? How does it looks like?
Bill: We do not talk to each other. Or we tell the other deliberately about termines:when I am really happy about the photoshooting and Tom is mad at me, then he says it in secret. But the next day the anger is usually already over.

Bravo: Has one of you in a fight already told: “Enough for me! I quit!” ?
Bill: No one said that aloud but we all had that thoughts.There were moments when I thought:I will not do that anymore! I leave it all behind. And now I also want some time for myself.

Bravo:What are those situations,in which everything is too much for you?
Bill: When I don’t know how to go on and I have no more ideas.Than there are days when I just want to pack my things –and don’t want to hear about the band for a year.But on the end I again think on fans, on the power, that they give to us and how much fun do I have to be Tokio-Hotel-Frontman.

– Its funny I had already seen some of these ‘feelings’ through him before he had opened up now, but I wasnt sure, and I dont like to assume. Im actually glad he is not…artificial. He feels. Its heartbreaking what he goes through though.

In the footage, Michael Jackson comes across as many things: an arresting performer who still possesses a vast arsenal of streetwise dance moves at age 50. A snappy dresser fond of Froot Loop-hued clothing. A take-charge field general who authoritatively issues orders to his collaborators from the stage. A creative force who was personally invested in the smallest details of his concerts.

But not a dying man.

On Oct. 28, for a limited two-week engagement, Sony Films will release “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” — a feature-length documentary comprised of video footage from rehearsals for what would have been Jackson’s return to performing. After a 12-year touring absence, Jackson was set to embark on “This Is It,” a series of 50 sold-out concerts at London’s O2 Arena. Exclusive footage that Sony Films screened for The Times provides a revealing glimpse of Jackson’s take-charge side that few outside the singer’s inner circle have seen until now.

“He was the conductor. He was the man,” said the movie’s director Kenny Ortega, who worked closely with Jackson as director of “This Is It.” “He didn’t just work through a show, he worked each audience differently. And the band, the dancers, the tech people, the lighting people had to be paying attention to that. He made sure everyone was in touch with that.”

Although the singer died on June 25 of acute intoxication by the powerful anesthetic propofol, the footage gives no indication that Jackson was in anything less than good health. And according to his director, choreographer and backup dancers, he was focused, emotionally prepared and fit.

“He was a true dancer,” said Daniel Celebre, a “This Is It” backup dancer. “Always moving. He could not stay still.”

Fellow dancer Timor Steffens added: “You’d get nervous standing next to Michael. That energy coming from him was so powerful.”

In one clip, edited together from four separate performances of his 1983 hit single “Human Nature,” Jackson appears sinewy — thin, to be sure, but not painfully so — as he effortlessly executes a number of pop-locking-inspired dance moves. Unaccompanied by “This Is It’s” retinue of 11 dancers, his singing and dancing (as opposed to the elaborate staging, illusions and aerial dancing being developed for “This Is It”) are in the spotlight. And those loyal to the King of Pop will not likely be disappointed: Jackson’s ethereal falsetto sounds strong and clear, his movements vigorous and precise.

A second sequence is plotted around a high-tech tableau that was to have been the concerts’ visual cornerstone: a 90-foot electronic scrim that Ortega refers to as “the world’s largest high-definition 3-D video screen.” A metal scaffolding designed to resemble the steel girders of a skyscraper in the process of being built looms in front of the digital projection of a New York cityscape; dancers, dressed as construction workers, lounge on its beams snapping their fingers. The sequence, conjured up by Jackson, is an homage to Lewis Hine, a turn-of-the-century photographer whom the pop icon admired.

Jackson arrives onstage to sing his 1987 single “The Way You Make Me Feel” wearing one of his trademark fedoras and a seersucker blazer. But he interrupts the segment’s Broadway musical-like staging to give instructions to the dancers.

“I gotta cue that so you gotta watch me for that growl,” Jackson says, with uncharacteristic forcefulness.

The choreography later in the scene is straight out of the song’s original music video, which features the singer walking along a city street at night singing to and trying to cajole a young woman to take his romantic overtures seriously.

At the end of the sequence, Jackson can hardly contain his enthusiasm.

“I feel totally, totally nourished!” he exclaims.

Kenny Ortega is a world-class choreographer, and was the mastermind behind the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Madonna’s “Material Girl” music video, Patrick Swayze sexy moves in the 1987 film Dirty Dancing and was the director of High School Muscial.

Oprah Winfrey, who got a sneak preview of 12 minutes of Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” film, said that the movie was “magical.” The 12 minutes of “This Is It” was delivered by armed security guards, who stood by as Oprah Winfrey viewed the footage, and then left with “This Is It” in hand.

Oprah Winfrey mentioned that Michael Jackson appeared skinny, but was impressed with his obvious energy and excitement about the performance. Oprah Winfrey also said that while viewing she thought, “Wow! What a loss!”

When Oprah Winfrey asked Kenny Ortega how he handled the death of Michael Jackson, Kenny Ortega said, “I had the hardest time. I had just seen him 14 hours earlier.” Kenny Ortega added that he would tell Michael Jackson that he loved him and that Michael Jackson would respond “I love you more.”

Kenny Ortega said that cutting the film, making the film, and having the entire group together helped to create a supportive situation. Kenny Ortega felt lucky to have the opportunity to be there with the material, which gave a greater value to the history that he shared with the legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Oprah Winfrey asked Kenny Ortega if he had been able to process the fact that Michael Jackson is gone. Kenny Ortega responded, “Little bits, he’s so much alive for me still, thank God.”

Kenny Ortega added that Michael Jackson is so present in the film that viewers will almost forget that he’s no longer with us.

Kenny Ortega told Oprah Winfrey how Michael Jackson would call him at 3 a.m. to dicuss the upcoming concert, saying, “We need fireflies!” Kenny Ortega compared Michael Jackson to a firefly because he shines from the inside out.

The Oprah Winfrey show included exclusive clips from Michael Jackson’s rehearsals, including for the song “The Way You Make Me Feel.”

Kenny Ortega told Oprah Winfrey that they started rehearsing in late April, and started physical rehearsals at The Forum and The Staples Center in Los Angeles in May and June. Michael Jackson was about 8 days from London, where they would conduct the final rehearsals before the tour.

After watching some more footage from “This Is It,” Oprah Winfrey asked Kenny Ortega if he was concerned about Michael Jackson’s weight.

Kenny Ortega said that they looked after him, stressing that the entire crew was a family with a refrigerator full of drinks and healthy food.

Kenny Ortega added that he saw no hint of drug use, and that he saw fatigue at time, due to his sleepless nights, but that Michael Jackson always insisted that he felt good, working on the record, being a father, brainstorming about the performance.

Although Travis Pane and Michael Jackson were the primary choreographers, Kenny Ortega played a large role, calling them “The Three Muskateers” or “The Three Stooges.” Kenny Ortega added that Michael Jackson was an improvisational genius.

All the dancers were inspired by Michael Jackson, and were participating in what they had always dreamed of. Kenny Ortega said that the dancers always felt special when Michael Jackson looked their way.

Michael Jackson was constantly adding to the performance, and with the budget already surpassing $24 million, Randy Phillips said, “I was ready to jump off the balcony of my office. We went and met with Michael, and [director] Kenny [Ortega] said, ‘Michael, you’ve got to stop. We’ve got an incredible show, we don’t need any more vignettes.’ Michael said, ‘But Kenny, God channels this through me at night. I can’t sleep because I’m so supercharged.’ Kenny said, ‘But Michael, we have to finish. Can’t God take a vacation?’ Without missing a beat, Michael said, ‘You don’t understand — if I’m not there to receive these ideas, God might give them to Prince.’ ”

Kenny Ortega also mentioned that Michael Jackson greatly admired Prince, who recently spoke about Michael Jackson after a concert at the Gran Palais.

Did the Gloved One have loved ones?

Being raised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses Michael Jackson doubtlessly refrained from premarital intercourse for some time. Even from a young age he took seriously the scriptural text that says, “Flee from fornication. Every other sin that a man may commit is outside his body, but he that practices fornication is sinning against his own body.” (1 Corinthians 6:18; New World Translation) Of all his brothers, he was the only one that actually dedicated his life to Jehovah God and proceeded to symbolize that dedication by undergoing baptism in a pool of water.

But, he left the Witnesses, and in the process, abandoned certain Bible teachings that acted as a restraint to a healthy, growing libido that’s part of the maturation process we have all experienced. Now, I’m not suggesting that as a result Michael Jackson was an international playboy, rivaling the likes of a Hugh Hefner. But I am saying that the King of Pop had an eye for beautiful women. Just look at a few of his videos.

Video Vixens?: Webster’s dictionary defines “vixen” as “a sexually attractive woman.” Insofar as his videos and personal life were concerned, Michael Jackson loved to feature vixens in his videos. A brief overview of a few of his works is a testament to this fact.

Ola Ray (Thriller): Ola was Playmate of the Month in the June 1980 issue of Playboy magazine. After being dazzled by the centerfold the Gloved One selected her out of all those beautiful women who applied for the job of being his love interest in the blockbuster short film, Thriller (1982). According to the former playmate, she and Michael got intimate, though they stopped short of having actual sex. To this day she has their German Grammy for Thriller that Michael said she could keep. She strikes me as a classy lady with a controlled edginess about her. (It’s a compliment.)

Tatiana Thumbtzen (The Way You Make Me Feel): Tatiana starred as the woman Michael pursued in this video, released in 1987. They actually toured together. I met Tatiana in the greenroom at CNN’s Los Angeles’ bureau just after I came off the air on September 3, 2009, the day Michael was finally laid to rest. She was devastated over Michael’s death and intimated that he was her heart. “He was the love of my life,” she said tearfully. The beautiful Tatiana kindly allowed me to interview her for this column some weeks later, and struck me as being a bright, intelligent, graceful lady who’s still struggling over Michael’s death.

Naomi Campbell (In the Closet): Supermodel Naomi Campbell ravished Michael in this 1991 video, just as her onscreen character called for. In a Vibe interview conducted by Memsor Kamaraké Naomi said the following after hearing of his death: “I grew up with Michael Jackson, he was a good friend and the most exciting and innovative entertainer to have lived. No artist has connected to their audience like Michael and no one will ever be able to match what he has achieved. He gave back to people through his charity work and was an amazing father and human being. Michael touched people of every race, nationality, age and was the first truly global superstar. He is one of the all time greats and his role in popular culture will never be surpassed and never ever be forgotten.” Aside from this video, what else did Michael and the supermodel have in common? Both their mothers are Jehovah’s Witnesses and endeavored to raise them “in the Truth.”

Shana Mangatal (Ghost): Shana, the woman internationally known as Michael’s true girlfriend who talked every day with him for seven years, was in what she describes as being Michael’s favorite film short by far, Ghost (1995). He wrote, produced, and helped direct Ghost. It was originally titled Is This Scary? (1993), but was halted when Michael was charged with child molestation in 1994. Of all the cast and crew Shana was the only one he brought back from the original production. Did she and the King of Pop ever lip-lock? No doubt. When ET’s Bob Goen asked if they were ever intimate, she answered: “I don’t want to go into detail about it but…yes.” She went on to say that he was a normal red-blooded man who was very flirtatious and loved women.

Shana worked for one of Michael’s companies. When Michael discovered her, he moved his headquarters to an office adjacent to hers. Grace Rwaramba, who eventually became the nanny for Michael’s children, was best friends with Shana. Grace confided in Shana that Michael got real nervous when he knew he was going to see her. In speaking to and communicating with Shana I explained to her how I imagined Michael saw her:

“Michael understood that your indescribable beauty challenges the imagination of the most prolific poet,” I wrote as we communicated by Facebook. “It scars the mind of the uninitiated. He was aware that a mere gaze in your direction causes an eruption that ripples through the space-time continuum. He had to have known that with an instrument forged by the gods you were sculpted into perfection. Your ambiance, rivaled only by the loveliest of sunsets, is forever engraved on the psyche of man.” (To be sure, the woman’s beauty inspires poetry.) “Michael knew that reality is altered when you enter a room,” I continued. “Your heart must beat honey; your tears navigate down your cheeks as sweet diamonds. The pantheon of gods is minus its most beautiful goddess. Zeus weeps. MJ had to have known this.” Indeed, her words had to have been a song in his ears that resonated through his soul and thereafter satisfied his existence. (See Song of Solomon.)

Michael went abroad after being found “Not Guilty” on all counts in his child molestation trial, but contacted Shana upon returning stateside. Actually, they never really stopped talking. They had communicated judiciously as dictated by decorum throughout the years. And in an exclusive telephone interview this past Tuesday she revealed that, unbeknownst to one another, they moved to Las Vegas around the same time. Upon discovering that she was there, Michael, with his children in tow, visited her. The romance was rekindled. In fact, she and Michael had been in touch up until about two weeks before he died.

Knowing that she could have met with him anytime during the two-week period, Shana decided to delay their meeting until Friday, June 26, 2009. It would be the weekend and they could spend some time together. Something happened to prevent that though. Michael Jackson died Thursday, June 25, 2009. Shana, with the humility and grace of an angel, stated retrospectively, “It taught me never to procrastinate.” She’s still hopelessly in love with him.

The King of Pop’s crown slipped a bit when it came to beautiful women. He had a weakness for them. For those of us who truly knew him, all the above, coupled with who he was as a person, proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Michael Jackson was no child molester–which is the point of this article. Rest in peace my friend. Amen.

Anyhow, LaToya has just confirmed that Prince has vitiligo on an Italian T.V interview. She was talking about Michael having it all over his body and she then said Prince has it as well and explained all the areas in which he has it.

Tokio Hotel have seen more than other people see in their whole lives. They’ve been in the spotlight since they were fifteen; their poses always distant and very cool. The twins are 20, now, and surprisingly thoughtful and grown up are their words when they speak of their beginnings as popstars.

Tom: We did a lot of stupid shit. Everyone was just hanging around, smoking pot, drinking alcohol, and stuff like that. Everyone was just hanging and getting stoned with something.

Bill: I think drugs and alcohol were… you never think about that, but there’s hardly anyone who’s never tried anything.

The twins never missed anything on celeb parties, from the beginning. Accordingly, the news reports followed, soon.

Tom: That was the time where I thought, “Hey, great! I’m a rock star and will totally take advantage of that!”

Bill: Then there were the first negative reactions, and there was talk about our lives and our age, alcohol and parties. That was the first time I realized, “Oh, there’s this side to it, too. How do you explain that to your granddad?”

Tom: You go to a family gathering, and there are headlines, “He drinks the strong stuff, and takes all kinds of girls to his room…”

Bill: Tom had quite the notches on his bedpost with girls.

Tom: I had a different girl in my room, every day.

But it never got serious when it came to love. On “100% Tokio Hotel” a thoughtful Bill explains why.

Bill: If I would really fall in love, and even that would be like winning the lottery in my situation… then I could never… build up a relationship without someone noticing, I would have to… tell someone… and uhm… and that… that girl would probably be brought to my room or something.

That clearly shows the price that Tokio Hotel pay for their success.

Bill: We have a house with a garden, and there is a high fence, and you can’t see further than to the fence. And we drive around with cars that have dark windows and… uhm… yeah. You can’t get out.

Today, their album Humanoid is being released, and their freedom won’t grow, any time, soon. But at least they deal with that problem differently, today. Maybe more grown up.

A “Diamond Record” from France, a newcomer prize at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, just four awards at the MTV Latin Music Awards in Mexico. The success story of Tokio Hotel in the past two years is unprecedented for a German band. On 2 October) appears now Tokio Hotel’s third album, “Humanoid” (see box. The MOPO on Sunday spoke to the identical twins Tom (guitar, 20) and Bill Kaulitz (vocals, 20).

MOPO on Sunday, “says androgynous pop stars to be generally that they are liked by young girls like that because they are not dangerous for them. Are they safe to Bill?

Bill Kaulitz: I do not know, but very possible. One says the other hand, that women are attracted to assholes. And yes, I have noticed with my brother again and again, that works. (grins)

MOPO on Sunday: Do you see yourself more as asexual beings on the stage? Or as animalistic-performing front man?

Bill Kaulitz: I personally do not think at the moment about it. I am then so in my film. Perhaps the more other people can see that. Because there is indeed any of my amorous stories in the press, simply because it did not exist in the whole time. I had the whole year not a friend. I had no sexual relationship with anyone. Therefore, people might feel this way.

MOPO on Sunday: In the media you are visually likened to Michael Jackson, Victoria Beckham, Boy George. Which comparison is the worst?

Bill Kaulitz: The Worst is definitely Victoria Beckham! Although I think they are not lousy. But I can understand the comparison to zero. Michael Jackson and Boy George are more likely. Because they were also painted. But I think those are also the only parallels. Many speak to me that there were so many rock bands in the eighties and real men who were ten years older than me now, crimped hair, and had been painted. That is why I have not even invented.

MOPO on Sunday: Have you been watching your mother more often when they stood before the mirror? Or why is this?

Bill Kaulitz: No, not at all. My mom is almost always unflattering. That comes from myself. I used to and I do still have a total passion for vampires.

MOPO on Sunday: How many shares do for your hair at Tokio Hotel’s success?

Bill Kaulitz: I think a large proportion. It’s a combination: outfit, styling, personality and music. If we were to make music without the styling, that would be strange.

Tom Kaulitz: But it includes only together, because even if it’s really true. There are so many incredible artists, and of which I am not a supporter, who dress completely then only for the stage. And not even carry it. You will notice this whatsoever. It feels that everything is somehow inauthentic.

Bill Kaulitz: Tom and I are so gone to school.

Tom Kaulitz: Exactly, we were always so. Just as we stand on the stage, we run around elsewhere. I almost said already, so we run around in private, but private life there is no longer with us, so you can not measure it any more. But earlier it was so.

MOPO on Sunday: When did you last enjoyed the freedom of going unrecognized?

Bill Kaulitz: When we were in early 2008 for the first time in America and are simply went out the door. Run around without a bodyguard on the street, that was cool.
